“That’s Sicily” 2011 (2). Sicilia. 5 al 8 May 2011

Dear Fellow Rotaractors,

It's a great pleasure for me to announce you that from the 5th till the 8th (included) of May 2011, for the second time in this year, my District will be hosting the international project called “That’s Sicily ”.

For five years, we have been improving and developing our program to make it even more exciting for you this year.

If you would ask why our trip is worth participating, “That's Sicily” Team is ready to convince you in it!

It's an unique low cost week-end full of excursions, crazy parties and cultural life here in Sicily (the treasure island of Mediterranean) thanks to which the participants can know better our local culture, about the delicious food we eat and our lifestyle but at the same time we can also learn about the Countries of the participants who choose to adhere to this program.

We think that it can be a great opportunity both to share all together the emotions given from this our event and above all to build better friendship between boys and girls who live in different parts of the world but share the same Rotaract ideals.

The programme is totally different from the past edition:
1. Messina: The Sea beyond the Strait...
2. Taormina: the Pearl of Ionian Sea
3. Catania: Magic baroque city nestled between Mount Etna and the Alcantara Valley
4. Siracusa: between Myth and History
5. Ortigia: UNESCO Heritage

Rotaract Poland Trip. 6 al 16 Mayo

Dear all!

Poland Trip is approaching!

Spread the word to your fellow Rotaractors!

Basic info:
It will take place between 6th and 16th of May.
You'll have the possibility to visit 8 Polish cities.
We've now accepting applications, deadline is 3rd of April.
Below you can find our web site and some more info. I wish you good luck with the application :)

"Poland Trip is an event open to all the world's active Rotaract members. It has been created with the main aim of a better international understanding and the promotion of our country from a touristic and rotaractarian viewpoint.
Poland Trip is organized for the eighth time already. Its main idea is to offer a group of Rotaractors from different countries a visit in Poland. Polish Rotaract members are taking care of them by hosting them in their homes, planning their visit, covering their transport expenses in Poland and doing all their best to entertain them during the trip. For each Poland Trip edition, organizers try to select a group of participants that would represent different countries, cultures, religions and styles of life. That is why Poland Trip is not just a touristic event. It's something more. You will experience many great moments and meet fantastic people. You will also be able to see how Polish Rotaract clubs serve and maybe it will be a beginning of a new international Rotaract project..."

Revista "Rotaract Espana" #1 (Enero 2011) - "Rotaract Spain" Newsletter 1st Issue (Jan. 2011)
